Most drivers in the state of Pennsylvania are aware that they will face numerous risks every time they get behind the wheel and take to the road. These days, just a short drive can turn into quite an adventure. It is a statistical fact that most drivers will be involved in an accident at some point during their lives. Unfortunately, it seems that fatal motor vehicle accidents are increasing with each passing year.
Accident details
Recently in Lebanon County, a two-vehicle crash killed one driver and injured another. The accident happened during the afternoon hours on Route 501. According to reports, the driver of a northbound sedan failed to correctly negotiate a turn and traveled into the southbound lanes. Reports said the sedan then crashed into a southbound truck.
1 dead, 1 injured
Reportedly, the driver of the sedan became trapped in the vehicle and had to be freed by first responders. He was taken to a hospital where he died a short time later. Authorities said the driver of the truck suffered injuries that were not life-threatening
Pennsylvania drivers should always remain focused and alert behind the wheel. Fatal motor vehicle accidents can happen in a split second and without warning. Those who have suffered injuries or the tragic loss of a dear loved one in an accident caused by the negligence of another party reserve the right to contact an attorney and seek legal recourse. A lawsuit, if successful, could result in much-needed compensation to help victims and families recover from this traumatic experience.
