Apparently, a car headed eastbound drove through the median and into the westbound lanes. According to reports, the car crashed head-on into a westbound SUV.
Tragic death
Eyewitnesses said the driver of the car swerved to miss a dead deer that was in the road and may have lost control. Reports said several people were injured in the accident. A female passenger in the SUV sustained life-threatening injuries. Tragically, authorities said she passed away the next day at a local hospital. Police are still investigating the accident.
